Charles Courcoux began his career at Alexandre de Paris, the famous French hairstyling academy. Styling models for French Pret-a-Porter and Haute Couture fashion shows infused his technical know-how with a strong sense for fashion and movement. Subsequently, Charles worked with the René Furterer Institute where he learned to administer therapeutic spa services for hair and scalp. After 10 years as a hairstylist, Charles regularly returns to France for trainings. After 2 years in San Francisco, Charles describes himself as an American stylist, though always with a French inspiration.
