FASHION COMMUNITY WEEK 2016
2016 continued the success of the last two years, with 4 days of Fashion shows, Exhibitions and Conferences. The Fashion shows included Local and International Fashion Designers, showcasing Couture, Ready to Wear, Emerging, Sustainable, and Wearable Technology. The Showrooms and Conferences featured a plethora of topics and categories of fashion — including Fashion Technology; Sustainable Designs; Fashion Non Profits; High-end Couturiers; Ethnic Designs.
FCW OPENING FASHION SHOW
Kicking off a week of fashion, was the Prêt-a-porter Fashion Show, held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. The evening began with a VIP Cocktail hour with Fashion Industry guests, followed by a showroom presentation and fashion show. The showroom presented exclusive collections and items that are not in the General Market.
Atelier Emmanuel was on-board to style hair and apply makeup (^_^)
19 models were prepped by our team. Following F/W 2016 ready-to-wear trends, makeup was Apple lips and Cat Eyes and hair was styled with a wavy, flowing, natural look. The mood was calm and organized, thanks to head organizer Shirin Hashem. The models and the designers were all easy to work with. A very positive vibe to start off a week of fashion!
