The Distilled Collection ethos is ‘reducing things to their origin for magnified effect’
Twice a year, Wella introduces their Color Collection for Spring/Summer and then Fall/Winter. The S/S 2015 collection is called Distilled. Developed by star stylist Hester Wernert-Rijn, the Distilled Collection ethos is “reducing things to their origin for magnified effect”.
Keywords: premium purity, essential, shape, lightness, subtlety, fluidity
We were lucky to have Elizabeth Muench of The Refinery Salon to introduce the collection to us and lead us in a class to workshop the concepts behind the collection, as well as play with Wella’s new color line, Instamatic. Elizabeth was genuine and upfront — just the kind of instructor that fits in well with our group!
We had a great turnout of models, all game for us to play with their hair color. (Although, listening in on the presentation of Instamatic, some had a moment’s panic that we were about to give them green hair.)
We often post for models, and find that many people are hesitant. Here you get to see how a class looks and the great results that models get. 🙂
